Giovanni worked with his brother Angelo to redesign the logo of the Baden-Powell council, located in Southern-tier NY & northern PA.
The council felt their current logo was outdated. Although proudly promoting the rich history of scouting, as it features the face of the founder of Boy Scouts, Baden-Powell, the council wanted to appeal to people less familiar with scouting, and emphasize the modern scouting experience with use of iconography such as campfires, tents, and the outdoors.

Above are variations of the two final options presented to the council's board and marketing team. After months of work on the project, the board and team could not come to a mutual agreement and decided to hold off on rebranding for the time being.
In addition to the request for a modern look and scouting iconography, a request was made to create a logo that could be used for each district within the council as well. Below are some ideas.
